SOME FACTS ON SKIN CARE

Your skin reflects the internal state of your body so if you look good it usually is when you are feeing healthy. If your skin has a healthy glow this means that you have good blood circulation not only through your body but just within the skin.

Wrinkles are a sign of aging caused by the cross linking of collagen fibres which can be accelerated by inflammation caused by exposure to the sun. The most effective way to reduce wrinkles, besides staying out of the sun completely, is to reduce arachidonic levels in the skin there by decreasing the potential for the production of ‘bad eicosanoids. Secondly an even more effective approach to prevent wrinkles is to increase the levels of good eicosanoids because of their powerful anti-inflammatory effects . These will do more to improve skin quality than what you put onto your skin because they are powerful vasodilators that increase oxygen levels to the skin  as well as being anti-inflammatory agents.

Hira Cellvit C has been specially formulated by our research chemist using costly oils and ingredients.  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON TOPICAL VITAMIN C

 Vitamin C hinders the production of arachidonic acid which causes inflammation and converts it to less harmful substances. ( Note this micro-inflammation is the first step to free radical damage ….a wrinkle )

There are two main  types of vitamin C.

1 Water soluble vitamin C or L- ascorbic acid, which gains entry to the inside of the cell, cannot prevent free radical damage on the cell wall. It is also quite acidic and irritating breaking down within a day.

2 Oil-soluble vitamin C or vitamin C ester, which acts on the lipid layer that surrounds each cell. It acts as an effective anti-oxidant that can penetrate the cell plasma membrane.

• Research shows that the absorption of this vitamin C, when measured by scientists at Proctor and Gamble, is absorbed much more quickly and achieves levels ten times higher than L-ascorbic acid.
• It is not acidic and does not irritate the skin like L-ascorbic acid and can be used directly onto broken skin and sunburn without causing stinging.
• It is very stable and can be added to creams and lotions and keeps its potency for years without becoming rancid.

Also products arrived yesterday, my skin was crying out for Cell-Vit C its weird but nothing else

takes away the dryness in my skin. The night cream sample is sensational its like heaven and feels beautiful.  I have skin problems with urticaria which leads to angiodema due to change of temperature and getting wet, which really

is a pain but manageable. Which is why I have always had problems with skin care that is until now, you have no idea how lucky i am to have found your products. Makes me laugh because I was on your website  looking for products for my daughters horse for a calming product and never got there haha.
